This American Plumber whole house iron filter is a greensand filter that can remove iron and sulfur up to 10ppm and manganese up to 15ppm. The greensand media oxidizes iron, sulfur and manganese and captures that oxidized particles for later removal during the backwash cycle. Greensand media is regenerated using potassium permanganate solution. Potassium permanganate bucket for storage of solution is included with this system. Peak flow rate of 7GPM at 15psi. This model has a fleck valve and 1" connections.
