Grundfos CR5 Series Pumps
Vertical, multi-stage centrifugal pumps are designed with the motor mounted directly on top of the
pump housing to minimize footprint. Pump suction/discharge chamber, impellers, pump shaft,
diffuser chambers, outer discharge sleeve, and impeller seal ring retainers are constructed of 316
stainless steel. The motor stool is constructed of cast iron and is isolated from the process fluid by a
316 stainless steel insert.
Each pump is equipped with a high temperature mechanical seal assembly. Pumps are capable of
operating at continuous temperatures up to 250°F (121°C). The pump motor is sized to ensure
non-overloading when operating on the pump curve. Motors are totally enclosed fan cooled
(TEFC), with NEMA C face designs that provide a minimum service factor of 1.15. Lower motor
bearings are adequately sized to ensure long motor life. F.O.B. Supplier
