Harmsco® brand filter cartridges are an excellent choice for residential and commercial POE (point of entry) or POU (point of use) applications. Harmsco® Hurricane™ filters fit only into Harmsco Hurricane housings. The Harmsco Hurricane is a patented dual action sediment filter that works by both cartridge filtration and centrifugal separation. With flow rates up to 150GPM for one housing and cleanable filter cartridges, Hurricane® filters are an ideal choice for high flow POE applications.
Harmsco "801" series cartridge filters are cleanable pure polyester filters with six square feet of media per 10 inch of filter. The pleated design of these filters means the low pressure drop, high flow rate capability and high solids loading capacity. Color coded end caps on these filters minimize errors in selecting and reordering cartridges with the right micron ratings. Harmsco makes "801" series cartridges in lengths for both Harmsco and competitive housings and are a standard cartridge width of 2-3/4".
Harmsco Calypso Blue filter cartridges are designed specifically to fit Pentek Big Blue® filter housings. Each Calypso Blue filter is constructed of pleated polyester media for long life and exceptional dirt holding capacity. Harmsco SureSafe™ filters are made of pleated polyester with Silver Zeolite media for long life bacterial and mold resistance and high dirt-holding capacity. Cartridges can be cleaned and reused in most applications and micron ratings.
