Seatech "Quick Connect" Fittings
Sea Tech’s unique fittings, valves, manifolds, and tubing make plumbing water systems simple and easy. Because Sea Tech’s quick connect products do not require any special tools for installation they are the ideal choice for OEM and users. Only Sea Tech’s state of the art design allows for a simple “snap” connection to plastic, CPVC, and copper tubing. Fittings are quickly and easily installed without any special tools, compression sleeves, nuts, adhesives, welding, clamps, or crimps of any kind.
These fittings are "CTS" sized meaning they are designed for copper tubing. 1/2" CTS fittings are designed for 1/2" copper pipe, not 1/2" outer diameter tubing. Seatech fittings can be used to connect copper, PVC, PEX, LDPE tubing, MDPE tubing and HDPE tubing, you will need to convert CTS sizing to tubing OD (outer diameter) in order to use tubing. Please use the below conversion for tubing outer diameters:
3/8"CTS = 1/2" OD tubing
1/2"CTS = 5/8" OD tubing
3/4"CTS---7/8" OD tubing
1"CTS------9/8" OD tubing
