String Wound Water Filters

Designed for a variety of prefiltration applications such as SDI (service or portable deionization), reverse osmosis, and CDI (Continuous Deionization) Systems.
Available in a variety of lengths and micron ratings. Filter diameter is 2-5/8" and fits into a standard housing.

- String wound type filter with your choice of cotton, industrial or surfactant-free polypropylene string over a polypropylene core.
- Large void volume design for low-cost, reliable filtration performance with high contaminant holding capacity.
- Continuous filter winding in 20-, 30-, and 40-inch lengths prevents by-passing or excessive pressure drops at the seams.
- Gasketed end caps on 0.5 micron rated filters for positive sealing that eliminates by-passing.
- Surfactant-free FCPX style filter meets USP Class VI Biological Tests for Plastics requirements.
