Bacteria Samplers
Provides simple, fast microbiological analysis of surface, natural source, make-up, process
and laboratory-grade water (or high-purity). Extremely versatile for sampling fluids and
different types of surfaces and crevices. Can be used in a variety of industries including
beverage bottling/canning, cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing.
Each sampler absorbs 1 mL of sample. Consists of a plastic tab supporting a 0.45 µm filter
bonded to an adsorbent pad containing dehydrated nutrient medium, and all contained in a
transparent plastic case.
- Filter surface is grid-marked to permit counting colonies
- Presterilized and ready for use, the sample does not require special preparation
- Entire assembly is sterilized and packaged in a sealed plastic envelope. Samples may be
used in conjunction with the swabbing unit for surface-sanitization. This is a cottontipped
swab stick in sterile buffer contained in a vial similar to the sampler vial.
